I consider this product the "star" of the Holy Monastery!!! It did an EXCELLENT job on the tanning that RADIATION THERAPY causes on the skin. To be precise, after the application of a radiotherapy course of 28 applications to the right breast in an extremely serious Athenian private hospital, the expected tightening and darkening of the skin followed. The radiologist recommended several preparations which worked very well and I applied them according to the instructions for 5 months, until she advised me to stop. However, the tan, which had improved significantly, persisted and was easily visible. When I stopped the proposed treatment – as recommended by the radiation therapist – I started the Arnica cream of the Holy Monastery, and thus the tanning of the radiation therapy disappeared completely and very quickly. I suggest that when the cycle of your radiation therapist's recommended formulations is over, then talk to your doctor and start this product. You will be surprised with the result. Today, we all use it in the family, as a moisturizing cream especially on the hands, neck and back that suffer daily from the sun.

HERBAL GARDEN

All the oil extracts (infusion oils) contained in our creams are produced in the monastery. The extraction is mainly made by heat-infusion. The herbs are immersed in their carrier oils in stipulated analogies and controlled temperature by the means of up-to-date equipment. Along with the oil extracts, glycerin and hydroalcoholic extracts are also being deployed. The active constituents of the herbal extracts are boosted by other basic materials like panthenol, aloe vera and glycerin which are known for their efficacy in skin care. This way, the effectiveness of the creams is intensified and the greatest result when applied is ensured.

The combination of the aromatic herbs, and, by extension, of their extracts in the ointments is based on scientific research and advice of specialists in collaboration with the Monastery. Above all, the ten-year feedback the Sisters had been given from people who benefited from the products is of invaluable assistance in their efforts.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The scientific name of Arnica is Arnica Montana (Arnakis the mountainous). It grows in Siberia and Central Europe, but also in regions with temperate climate in North America. Its yellow flowers and leaves contain many healing properties and thus have various therapeutic applications. Arnica cream is mainly used as a reliever from muscle pain, muscle and tendon injury, and for other conditions such as, bruises, sprains, varicose veins, rheumatics and post-surgical inflammation. Arnica is favoured by athletes as a muscle rub before warm up but also after training since it also decreases muscle tension. Furthermore, Arnica speeds up recovery as it eases blood circulation and increases local blood flow in damaged tissues.

Caution: Arnica cream is only for external topical use. This cream should not be applied to open wounds and to damaged or broken skin.
